Job Description

Call Center Admissions Representative Location Virginia Beach, VA (North Central area) :

POSITION PURPOSE

This position is responsible for providing information to potential student applicants with the end result being enrollment in our school.

SCHEDULE: Monday - Thursday 9AM to 8PM (4 day/40 hour work week)

JOB FUNCTIONS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Use Company approved recruiting methods to accurately and completely explain educational programs in order to determine if potential applicants have the ability to benefit from the training provided.
  • Schedule and conduct interviews, pursue qualified candidates for enrollment, and determine appropriateness of candidates for enrollment based upon career goal compatibility.
  • Provide assistance to all Company developed inquiries, through the inquiry cycle from Inquiry to Application Transferred including, taking inbound calls and making outgoing calls, interviewing students, receiving applications, and doing the necessary follow-up to ensure that students are on track to attend orientation and start school as scheduled
  • Update CampusVue for all associated activities and information
  • Provide a high level of customer service and ensure all inquiries are contacted and record each activity is in the Contact Manager section of Campus Vue
  • Generate personally developed inquiries through outside contacts and student referrals
  • Report all recruitment activity daily to the Executive Director of Admissions
  • Attend admissions meetings and training sessions as scheduled
  • Meet with the Executive Director of Admissions to review strategies, activities, and results
  • Promote a positive teamwork environment
  • Uphold the school, its programs, students and employees in the highest regard
  • Strong interpersonal skills to interact with the team and campus staff.
  • Goal oriented and self motivated to complete daily tasks.
  • Comply with the Admissions Policy and Procedure and the policies of regulatory bodies
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor

Education

  • High School Diploma or GED, or equitable on-the-job experience required
  • Associates Degree with at least one year of admissions or related experience preferred

Experience/Skills

  • Experience working in a campus environment desirable
  • Sales-Customer Service experience required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, performance-driven, compliance-oriented educational environment.
  • Detail-oriented, analytical, highly organized, and have the ability to multi-task and work well under pressure.
  • Demonstrate a high level of integrity, strong work ethic, and professionalism.
  • Persuasive and effective verbal and written communication skills, with a strong focus on customer service in an educational setting.
  • Highly motivated and goal-oriented, with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Must be able to work independently and as collaborative team member and have exceptional interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent computer skills are required with proficiency in MS Office applications including, but not limited to, Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, and Teams. CampusNexus experience a plus.
  • Ability and willingness to work outside of regular work shifts, including evenings and/or weekends as necessary or as requested by Supervisor.
