As a Donor Outreach Coordinator, your role is vital : you’ll connect with current, past, and potential blood donors on the phone to schedule their next life-saving donation at local blood drives—helping ensure a steady blood supply for patients in need.

As a Donor Outreach Coordinator, You’ll Get To

  • Enhance the donor experience by providing quality customer service while inspiring donors to realize their life-transforming potential.
  • Collaborate within a supportive team atmosphere, contributing to a positive work environment and goals.
  • Retain donors by scheduling donation appointments, resolving customer service concerns, and consistently providing excellent customer service.
  • Code donor records appropriately based on the information provided by donor and management.

Requirements

Knowledge/ Education

  • High School Graduate or GED required.

Experience

  • One-year customer service experience - preferred
  • Proficient computer skills required.
  • Contact Center experience - preferred

Skills/Abilities Required

  • Must possess the skills and abilities to successfully perform all assigned duties and responsibilities.
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to work autonomously and productively to meet and exceed goals while multi-tasking, focusing on details and adapting to a changing environment.
  • Ability to work in a repetitive role that majority of time is spent on the phone.
  • Must possess a positive attitude that encourages teamwork.
