Job Description POSITION SUMMARY
The Copywriter develops clear, compelling and on-brand messaging that supports NMDP's mission to save lives through cell therapy. This role transforms complex information into engaging stories and actionable content for audiences across multiple channels. Working in a collaborative remote environment, the Copywriter partners with teams across NMDP to craft copy that informs, inspires and drives results. The ideal candidate brings strong creative instincts, sharp attention to detail and an openness to exploring how AI and other emerging tools can enhance both craft and efficiency.
Please submit at least two writing samples in English and one writing sample in Spanish or a link to an online portfolio with your application. ACCOUNTABILITIES:
• Write, edit and adapt content in English and Latin American Spanish for a variety of platforms including web, social, email, direct mail, print and video, ensuring that cultural nuance and tone resonate with each audience.
• Turn project plans and strategy into compelling copy that reflects NMDP's brand voice and tone.
• Collaborate with design, marketing and digital teams to deliver cohesive and effective campaigns.
• Collaborate with content and translation partners to ensure alignment of message and tone across English and Spanish materials.
• Adapt writing style for diverse audiences and platforms while maintaining brand consistency.
• Apply AP style, internal brand guidelines and Spanish language standards across all work.
• Incorporate feedback from internal stakeholders and synthesize revisions efficiently.
• Use AI and related tools to streamline workflows, spark creative ideas and enhance content quality.
• Prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and deliver accurate, on-brand copy on deadline.
• Contribute ideas for testing and optimization to improve audience engagement.
• Stay informed about trends in marketing and storytelling to continually evolve creative approaches.
• Review and verify accuracy of translated materials.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge of:
• Native or equivalent professional proficiency in English and Latin American Spanish.
• Familiarity with AI writing and research tools and interest in leveraging them to improve creative work.
• A strong command of grammar, AP style and brand voice application.
Ability to:
• Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional, remote teams.
• Follow organizational brand and style guidelines
Education and/or Experience:
• 2+ years of professional copywriting experience in an agency or in-house marketing environment.
• Portfolio that demonstrates range across channels, formats and tones.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing or a related field.
• Experience in health care, nonprofit or mission-driven organizations.
• Knowledge of best practices for digital and traditional marketing channels.
• Familiarity with testing, analytics and content performance insights.
• Curiosity about emerging technology and its role in creative storytelling.
