Helpful Hearted Providers Inc. is seeking a compassionate and dependable Direct Support Professional (DSP)for 2nd shift (4pm–12am) . This role supports adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities across multiple residential locations within Cuyahoga County .
You will work in different homes based on agency needs. Exact location will be assigned during onboarding.
💰 Compensation$16.00 – $20.00 per hour
Rate depends on location and severity of the individual’s support needs.
Provide support with daily living activities (meals, hygiene, personal care, mobility)
Foster a positive, safe, and supportive environment during evening hours
Assist with household tasks: cleaning, cooking, laundry, organizing
Engage individuals in evening activities and community participation when appropriate
Maintain required documentation and follow all policies, procedures & state regulations
Administer medications if certified and complete accurate logs
Communicate effectively with supervisors, coworkers, and guardians
Report any behavioral, medical, or environmental concerns promptly
Uphold dignity, respect, and client rights at all times
Must be 18 years or older
High school diploma or GED
Valid driver’s license (preferred)
Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and all state requirements
Reliable, patient, and able to work independently
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
DSP or caregiving experience helpful, but we will train the right candidate
2nd Shift: 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM
