Schedule: M-F 8-5
Pay Rate: $32-$37
Location: Boise, ID
Position Type: Full Time
Travel: 80% for the first year then 50% once trained

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot semiconductor equipment
• Perform sustaining maintenance (PM/CM)
• Install new equipment and retrofits
• Experience with Precision Surface Processing tools
• Must be self-motivated and able to take instruction from a senior Field Service Engineer to grow into a stand-alone service provide

Requirements: 

• Minimum of 5 years of field service engineer support at a PVD equipment company or in PVD/Ion Beam-related work preferred
• Previous semiconductor experience required and/or Avionics Maintenance
• Willing to travel up to 80% during the first year for training, and travel reduces to approximately 50% once fully trained as an FSE
• AS or BS degree in electronics, robotics, material science and engineer, mechanical engineering, physics or related field + minimum of 5 years' experience in field service support at a PVD equipment company or PVD/Ion Beam related company or on the specific toolset preferred
  
   

Physical Effort/Activities:
May be required to walk up to 5+miles per day, able to be on feet for 8-10 hrs at a time, ability to bend, twist, push/pull, crouch, kneel in confined spaces, work at heights, on a ladder, and lift up to 50 pounds. The physical demands described above are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
