Job Description

Salary: $96,000 - 136,000 per year Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Python, AWS, Angular, and React
  • Experience in full-stack engineering, particularly in enterprise-level web applications (40% frontend / 60% backend)
  • Strong frontend development skills with Angular (preferred), React, and TypeScript for UI
  • Backend development experience with API creation using Lambda, ECS, or EKS
  • Familiarity with AWS services such as S3, Aurora, Neptune, SQS/SNS, Glue Data Catalog, IAM, and Lake Formation permissions
  • Knowledge of Terraform for infrastructure management
  • Experience with building or contributing to Data Portals or internal platform applications
Responsibilities:
  • Focus on frontend development (Angular for current projects, transitioning to React for new builds)
  • Engage in backend API engineering
  • Create and manage event-driven and REST/GraphQL services on AWS
  • Develop backend logic utilizing Python, Lambda functions, or containerized microservices (ECS/EKS)
  • Integrate various data layers across Neptune, Aurora, S3 datasets, and Glue Catalog metadata
  • Implement messaging systems using SQS/SNS
  • Apply secure access protocols using IAM and Lake Formation
  • Contribute to Terraform code and enhance DevOps pipeline
  • Collaborate effectively with product teams, designers, architects, and data engineers
  • Partake in coding interviews with a strong emphasis on hands-on skills
