Hook Crane Operator -Port Allen

Full Time

$35/hr+. An interview is required, and based on experience

**Day Shifts and Night Shifts available. Hours may vary. **

Express Employment Professionals, a full-service staffing agency, is currently hiring for the Baton Rouge Road Construction Company. They currently have a bridge project in Port Allen. This is a great full-time, long-term job opportunity with a large, well-established construction company located in Baton Rouge. 40+ hours per week. A resume and an Interview are required for this position.

**Experience and Skills Required for Hook Crane Operator: **

• Operate cranes and other lifting equipment according to safety regulations and site procedures.

• Inspect cranes and rigging daily to ensure proper function and safety compliance.

• Work closely with riggers, signalpersons, and ground crews to complete lifts accurately and efficiently.

• Maintain detailed records of lifts, maintenance, and inspections.

• Perform routine maintenance and report equipment issues promptly.

• Follow all OSHA, site, and company safety policies at all times.

**Qualifications **

• 2+ years of crane operation experience (hook or overhead crane preferred).

• Valid NCCCO (or equivalent) crane operator certification preferred.

• Ability to read load charts and understand crane capacities.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• Must pass a drug screen and background check.

• Reliable transportation to and from the work site.

• Crane (Liebherr, Konecranes, Tadano, Terex, Manitowoc, Demag, SANY)
