About the role
Each day on-site in Richmond, IL, you’ll arrive ready to keep a busy manufacturing facility running safely and smoothly. Reporting to the Facilities/Maintenance Manager and embedded within our Manufacturing & Operations job family, you’ll balance scheduled preventive work with real-time problem solving—always leading by example to promote safe work practices and continuously sharpening your craft through ongoing training and development.
What your day looks like
- Work through the preventive maintenance schedule in full compliance with company, local, state, and federal safety standards.
- Tackle routine building upkeep and support small alteration projects across the site.
- Service and troubleshoot mechanical building systems, with a focus on facility HVAC and automation equipment.
What you bring
- 5+ years of general building repair experience (preferred).
- Your own tools and strong troubleshooting instincts.
- Hands-on electrical and mechanical aptitude; ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics.
- Comfort with basic computer tasks and solid math skills.
- Self-directed work style with minimal supervision; willingness to work weekends and overtime as needed.
Physical and work environment
- Ability to exert 50–100 lbs. of force occasionally, 25–50 lbs. frequently, and 10–20 lbs. constantly.
- Standing and walking may be required for up to 90% of the workday.
This is a full-time, on-site position based in Richmond, IL.
