JOB TITLE: Injection Molding Operator
LOCATION: Sparta, NJ
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Injection Molding Operator is responsible for operating and monitoring injection molding machines to produce high-quality molded components according to production schedules and quality standards. This role includes setting up equipment, inspecting products, and ensuring compliance with customer requirements.
- Set up, load, and operate injection molding machines to meet production goals.
- Troubleshoot machines and equipment as needed.
- Mix materials accurately.
- Read blueprints and diagrams to position and secure machinery.
- Adjust machine settings for temperature, pressure, volume, and timing.
- Perform first article inspections and make necessary adjustments.
- Maintain part quality and production flow.
- Clean and maintain machines following safety protocols.
- Handle and package finished goods properly.
- Install molds using clamps, bolts, and hand tools per work orders.
- Follow safety protocols and report hazards.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1+ years of injection molding machine operation experience.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Advanced decoupling skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Knowledge of Profax and P5M6K materials preferred.
- Good mechanical skills and understanding of control functions.
HOURS: 7am-3:30pm Monday-Friday, Direct hire.
