Position Summary:

We are hiring a full time ClinicalSocial Worker III (LCSW) to join our interdisciplinary team at Vida Guidance Center in the Bronx, NY. Vida is an Article-31 Mental Health Center serving families in the community. As an LCSW Therapist at Vida, you will conduct individual and group psychotherapy with adults and/or children and families. This is a hybrid position with 4 onsite days and 1 remote day. 

Minimum Qualifications:

• Master's Degree in Social Work required.  
• NYS Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
• Bilingual English and Spanish required.
• Familiarity with evidence-based modalities.
• 2+ years of previous experience in a mental health clinic, hospital, behavioral health, or similar setting required.  

Key Duties:

• Completes documentation in accordance with OMH regulations. Monitors treatment plans for patients.
• Provides bio-psychosocial assessments and clinical diagnostic assessments.
• Conducts individual psychotherapy to assigned group of patients.
• Maintains skills and knowledge in clinical theory and practice to help patients overcome dependencies, adjust to life, and make changes.
• Provides counseling to family members to assist with understanding and supporting patients. 
• Engages in crisis intervention when necessary and refers patients or family to community resources. 
• Provides consultation to medical providers. Collaborates with physicians to develop and implement treatment and intervention programs. 
• Participates in clinical team meetings.

Starting Compensation:  

Minimum $85,000 per year; Maximum $94,000 per year

Work Environment Type, Location, and Schedule:

HYBRID based out of VIDA Guidance Center, Bronx, NY. Will work M-F with 1 day per week in SVDP. 4 days onsite, 1 day remote.
