Nuclear Medicine Technologist – Radiology/Cardiology - Travel Position (with $7,500 Completion Bonus) Location: Costa Mesa, CA Job Type: Travel Contract Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 5x8 Days Pay: $ 3,240/week (plus $2,500 completion bonus per contract, up to $7,500 after three contracts) Position Summary The Nuclear Medicine Technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures using radiopharmaceuticals to evaluate organ function and structure, primarily for cardiac and radiology-related studies. This role requires technical expertise, attention to safety protocols, and compassionate patient care. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals for nuclear medicine procedures.
• Operate imaging equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images for cardiac and other organ studies.
• Perform stress tests and cardiac imaging under physician supervision.
• Ensure compliance with radiation safety standards and maintain accurate documentation.
• Educate patients about procedures, safety precautions, and post-test instructions.
• Collaborate with cardiologists, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to interpret and deliver results.
• Maintain equipment and report any malfunctions promptly.

Qualifications * Education: Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or related field. * License/Certification:

• Current certification by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or ARRT (N)
• State licensure as required
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of nuclear medicine experience; cardiac imaging experience preferred.

Skills & Competencies

• Proficiency in nuclear medicine imaging techniques and equipment.
• Strong knowledge of radiation safety and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent communication and patient education skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
