Job Title: Quality Assurance Specialist
Type: Contract Overview:
System One is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Specialist to support our client, in developing and implementing their ISO 19443:2018 Quality Assurance Program. This position is part of a staff augmentation effort and will focus on program development, documentation, and certification support within the commercial nuclear sector.
Responsibilities:
Develop, evaluate, and maintain ISO 19443:2018 quality assurance program processes.
Write and update procedures, instructions, and related QA documentation.
Review procedures for compliance with the Quality Management Plan (QMP) and Quality Assurance Program Description (QAPD).
Manage and coordinate with accreditation bodies to obtain ISO 19443:2018 certification.
Support quality oversight, audits, and compliance activities.
Collaborate with cross-functional NuScale teams on activities affecting quality.
Requirements:
MUST HAVE: Direct experience implementing ISO 19443:2018 in a commercial nuclear environment .
Minimum of 5 years of experience developing and/or implementing nuclear quality assurance programs.
Experience with ISO 9001:2015 and nuclear QA standards such as 10 CFR 50 Appendix B , 10 CFR 21 , and ASME NQA-1 .
Strong technical writing and documentation skills.
Excellent communication, organization, and project management abilities.
Bachelor’s degree preferred (technical discipline); may substitute 10+ years of directly applicable experience.
Must be eligible to work under DOE 10 CFR Part 810 .
Details:
6–9 month staff augmentation contract.
Full-time, 40 hours per week.
Remote role with travel as required.
