Our client, a leading organization in data research and engineering, is seeking a Research Assistant V to join their team. As a Research Assistant V, you will be supporting the FAIR data foundation team in executing innovative research and engineering tasks. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong independence, analytical thinking, and collaborative skills, which will align successfully within the organization.
Job Title: Research Assistant V
Location: Remote, US Based must work PST hours Pay Range: $40-$48 What's the Job?- Support research and engineering initiatives focused on data curation algorithms and tools for AI applications
- Convert data needs into practical solutions, including developing new algorithms and functionalities
- Participate in large-scale data creation, ensuring high quality and diversity across modalities such as CV, NLP, and embodied AI
- Collaborate with team members and external partners to push the research frontier in Artificial Machine Intelligence (AMI)
- Contribute to publication efforts to disseminate research outcomes broadly
What's Needed?- 8+ years of experience in LLMs, foundation models, or data research
- Bachelor's degree in mathematics, STEM, or computer science
- Familiarity with cloud clusters and experience using PyTorch and Python for developing learning tasks
- Experience with machine learning and data engineering practices
- Ability to conduct independent research and collaborate effectively within a team
