Seasonal Woody Ornamental (Trees and Shrubs) Laborer

Job could start as early as Mid-March 2026 (with some flexibility) with a seasonal end date of October 1 2026

Job Description: Typical duties include but are not limited to:

• Moving/consolidate plant material throughout the day
• Ensure retail areas are neat and fully stocked
• Assist in unloading deliveries.
• General customer service, including; answering questions and providing direction
• Daily care for plants; watering and pruning
• Assisting customers with loading their purchases

The ideal candidate would possess:

• Experience with woody plants (trees and shrubs) preferred but will train the right candidate
• Experience with a fork truck (or a willingness to learn)

Job Requirements

• Be able to lift 50 lbs and be on your feet for much of the day
• Have a courteous demeanor
• Must be able to work weekends
• Ability to communicate and take direction
• Listen and understand proper safe workplace procedures
• Understand that the customer and their needs take precedence over day to day tasks.
• Be willing to perform a variety of tasks throughout the day
• Neatness and attention to detail a must

This is a seasonal position that may begin April 1 and entails 20-40 hours a week. Pay is based on experience. Interested candidates should call to set up an appointment and fill out an application.
