Systems Administrator/Azure - fulltime .
Salary: $90- 100k great Benefits
Remote: 4 days in the office – One day working remotely from home.
The Microsoft Azure Administrator will be responsible for the installation, cloud migration, configuration, and troubleshooting in a Windows (Windows 2016/2019) environment, which includes VMware, Veeam, and PowerShell. Position will consist of 75% Azure administration responsibilities VS 25% of the work is on the Networking side (2016 & 2019 ideal). We’re eliminating legacy Operating systems and need people with knowledge of the latest versions.
Most of the business applications run on Windows and we are looking for someone with RDS (Remote Desktop Services – MS version of Citrix) experience. In regards to SQL responsibilities, you will be maintaining the MS SQL Server keeping availability groups going. Technically you'll need to configure and maintain backups, and assist with DR strategy, implementation, and management. You'll be asked to enhance physical and virtual server hardware inventory company-wide. This person will also troubleshoot our physical and virtual servers and perform application monitoring.

· Must have good working knowledge of current Azure Cloud systems, Azure Admin Portal...
· Associate’s degree (BS is preferred)
· PowerShell experience – This one is critical. We are actively working towards automating internal processes using PowerShell. There will be small responsibilities initially but the need is growing.
· Veeam experience is a Must, SQL experience (not writing SQL, but managing SQL Server itself)
· Windows Server 2016 + 2019 experience, Cisco Meraki experience is preferred.
· Must be open to doing 75% Azure system administration vs. 25% Network admin responsibilities.
· VMware version VSphere 6.5 or higher experience.
· Understandable verbal communication skills and strong documentation skills needed.
· Must be local to the western suburbs, only citizens need apply.
