About the Job:
Huntington Learning Center in Glen Ellyn, Ill. is hiring tutors for ACT/SAT instruction in English, Math, Reading or Science. We are looking for dedicated teachers to help our students reach a brighter future!

Job Requirements:

• Part-time evening and/or weekend availability. 
• College degree required.
• Type 09 teaching certification is a plus, but is not required for those with Mathematics, Science or Writing expertise (verified by completion of an assessment test). 

Experience:

• Relevant: 1 year (Preferred).
• Teaching: 1 year (Preferred).

Hours:

• Monday to Thursday. 3 PM to 8 PM.
• Saturdays 9 AM to 3 PM.
• Sundays 10 AM to 4 PM.

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsibilities include teaching students, implementing curriculum, communicating student needs to full-time staff, and creating a positive and supportive environment for our students. 
• We offer paid initial and ongoing training in Huntington teaching methods and our highly developed curriculum. There are no lesson plans to create or homework to grade.
• Compensation is between $17.50 -$20 hour based on experience and level of expertise.
