Architectural Drafter / Technical Designer – Luxury Residential Projects
Aventura, FL | Full-Time | Mon–Fri, 8 AM – 4 PM

Join a premier luxury design-build firm in Aventura, FL, specializing in $1M–$10M custom homes and high-end renovations across Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach counties. We are seeking a highly technical Architectural Drafter / Technical Designer who can take a design concept and turn it into a buildable, clearly defined Scope of Work and construction-ready documents.

What You’ll Do

• Develop detailed architectural drawings and construction documents for luxury residential remodels and new builds.
• Translate designer and architect concepts into practical, buildable plans that meet structural, code, and field conditions.
• Create and refine Scopes of Work for interior and architectural elements, ensuring clarity for field crews and subcontractors.
• Review designs for conflicts or impractical details and propose workable, code-compliant alternatives while maintaining the design intent.
• Coordinate drawing sets for permitting and construction, and update plans based on field feedback and changes.
• Assist with material, finish, and detail selections that align with luxury standards and project budgets.

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 2 years of experience in architectural drafting or technical design for high-end residential projects.
• Strong technical mindset: ability to see when a design will not work as drawn and offer comparable, buildable solutions.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or SketchUp; 3D rendering experience is a plus.
• Solid understanding of construction methods, residential building codes, and detailing.
• Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and documentation (plans, scopes, revisions).
• Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or related field preferred.
