Position Overview

The General Francis Marion Hotel is seeking a dependable, customer-focused Part-Time Guest Services Agent to join our Front Desk team. This position is responsible for providing exceptional service to guests during late evening and overnight hours while ensuring the hotel remains secure, clean, and well-prepared for the next business day.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for guests during assigned shifts.
• Complete the nightly audit process accurately and in a timely manner.
• Monitor hotel activity to ensure guest safety and property security.
• Clean and maintain the lobby and public areas during overnight hours.
• Set up and prepare the breakfast area for the following morning.
• Assist guests with check-ins, check-outs, reservations, and general inquiries.
• Answer phone calls, take messages, and respond to guest needs promptly.
• Perform other front desk duties and special tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Reliable and punctual, with consistent availability for scheduled Sunday and Monday 3rd shift.
• Prior hotel or customer service experience preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks with minimal supervision.
• Flexibility to fill in additional 2nd or 3rd shift hours as needed.
• Basic computer skills; experience with hotel PMS systems is a plus.

Work Environment

This position involves overnight hours, extended periods of standing, and light cleaning duties. A positive attitude and commitment to excellent guest service are essential.
