Job Description

Responsible for daily homeroom teaching and student management.

• Cooperates closely with the Chinese Homeroom Teacher to plan and implement the class teaching plan.
• Teach transdisciplinary units based on the Common Core State Standards, covering the scope of IB PYP subjects, and document the Unit planner on ManageBac.
• Evaluate students’ academic, social, and moral development, and complete student reports on schedule for each term.
• Organize and coordinate various activities and the end-of-term showcase based on the school-wide curriculum plan.
• Engages in home-school communication and maintain regular contact with parents.
• Participate in specialist subject classrooms (in rotation with the international homeroom teacher).
• Monitoring student conduct both in and out of class.
• Actively participate weekly professional training or other developmental opportunities.
• Collaborate with other school departments on admissions and administrative tasks.
• Adheres to school and Academic Department policies and procedures.
